A world-wide panel of experts recently updated the definition of pain to better suit our modern understanding. In a nutshell, pain is a different experience for everybody. Pain is real to the one experiencing it, no matter the causation. Though most pain has a biological cause (dehydration, nutritional imbalance, biological damage, etc.), some pain can be a result of mental overload or psychological trauma. Let's remember to be gracious to those experiencing pain, we can never know all that they are going through that has led them to the experience they are in at this moment. Then, once we have manifested that grace, we can support them on their individual journey to better health and wellness. 🙏❤️
