Backpack safety is an absolute must for both short term and long term health. Remember, it is especially important to avoid single-strap bags, thin-strap/fashion bags, and hand-held bags, all of which can severely distort the spine or compress sensitive nerve bundles near the neck, shoulder, wrist and spine when worn or held under load.
Keep in mind that massage therapy may help prevent and reverse damage caused by cumbersome packs throughout the school year.
